Editorial: Moving to the Fifth Year of TSC
نویسنده
چکیده
2 marks the fi fth year of the IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC). Since the fi rst issue launched in 2008, TSC has published 16 issues. TSC has played an important role in contributing to the creation of the Services Computing discipline. In the past four years, TSC has created the Taxonomy for Services Computing to help lay a foundation of the framework of body of knowledge on services computing. There are 14 key knowledge areas spanning from services systems, services lifecycle, web services, service oriented architecture, services relationships, services composition, and business process management and integration, to enterprise modeling and management, service-oriented consulting methodology, cloud computing, services delivery platforms and methodology, application services and standards, security and privacy in services, and IT services management. The four published volumes of TSC have covered most of the top-level key areas of the body of knowledge in the fi eld of services computing. The TSC community has grown steadily. The authors are from more than 48 countries and regions. There have been more than 539 papers submitted. There are 33+ volunteers serving as editorial board members and more than 1,000 reviewers who have not only ensured the quality of the published papers in TSC, but also helped shape the ideas and research accomplishments of submitted papers. The readership has also grown from technical communities to services business and management communities. TSC has organized special sections or issues based on the highquality presentations from the set of prestigious conferences such as the International Conference on Web Services (ICWS), the International Conference on Services Computing (SCC), the International Conference on Cloud Computing (CLOUD), and the World Congress on Services (SERVICES). TSC has gradually gained broad acceptance in the community. TSC has been indexed by Thomson Reuters (ISI), EI Compendex, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-e), and other indexing systems. As the founding editor in chief of TSC, I am very pleased with the milestone TSC has achieved. I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the continuous contributions from the authors, readers, associate editors, and reviewers, as well as the IEEE Computer Society staff and TSC assistants. Finally, I hope you enjoy reading the fi rst issue of TSC in 2012. I look forward to your continuous contributions as an author, reader, or volunteer.

Editorial: Farewell 2013, Welcome 2014
THE IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC) had a great year in 2013 and will have an even better year in 2014. In 2013, TSC expanded in a number of dimensions, including scope, editorial board, and contributing communities. First, TSC expanded its scope by introducing the new taxonomy of services computing (http://www.computer.org/ portal/web/tsc/taxonomy). This new taxonomy broadens the...

AS we enter 2015, I have some very exciting news. First, with IEEE CS Publication Board approval, IEEE Transactions on Service Computing (TSC) will become a bi-monthly journal and publish every two months and six issues annually, instead the current quarterly publications. Second, in response to the growing community of researchers and practitioners, including both authors and readers, TSC edit...
متن کاملEditorial: Services Computing in 2016
IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC) will celebrate its ninth anniversary in 2016. In the first issue of 2016, I would like to report the achievements of TSC to our readers, authors, reviewers, TSC editorial board and TSC executive advisory board. First, TSC has gained its impact factor of 3.049 and its five-year impact factor of 3.181, which places TSC in the elite class of highly ran...
متن کاملGenetic parameters for various random regression models to describe total sperm cells per ejaculate over the reproductive lifetime of boars.
The objective of this study was to model the variances and covariances of total sperm cells per ejaculate (TSC) over the reproductive lifetime of AI boars. Data from boars (n = 834) selected for AI were provided by Smithfield Premium Genetics. The total numbers of records and animals were 19,629 and 1,736, respectively. Parameters were estimated for TSC by age of boar classification with a rand...
